First, a little frivolity:

Next, a compelling artist:

And last, the Marble Project:

Loosing (Losing?) your Marbles!

Facebook Demo:

You will need:

Watercolor paper (the smoother the better, ink works better than on rough)

India ink or liquid acrylic (black) and small container to wet the marbles

Marbles (3-5) small (or beads, or anything that rolls around)

Old naked frame (to keep the marbles in line)

Painter’s tape

Hair Dryer

Watercolors, or markers, or watercolor pencils

A few tips:

Smooth paper a little larger than I used, so the marbles can roll around better.

More than two marbles so lines can move together.

I made a round sample using a spring form pan.

I wonder if you could use smaller beads and cookie cutters?

I inked a paper that already had some loosely painted areas from another project.
