  Please have the following  to use for a 'Scratch Board Art' project during the club meeting: 1.    2 or more prepared 5x7 or larger[but not TOO big]  pieces of cardstock,or poster ​ board, or cardboard,such as the cardboard that is behind a pad of paper.  one piece for practice,  the second for another try.  Prepare each ​  piece by coating with two layers of gesso ​ (or white ceiling paint you may already have at home , dry ​  completely and then sand lightly with fine sandpaper,   before class ​. 2.  Assorted crayons the brighter, the better, colors. 3.  Black or navy blue acrylic paint 4.  liquid dishwashing soap 5. assorted tools for scribing or scratching such as wooden shishkabob skewers ​  [both the pointed and flat ends], wooden toothpicks, calligraphy pen nibs of various sizes, end of a wooden matchstick, etc 6. flat soft brushes for applying acrylic paint newspaper to protect surface of table, ha...

Leaf Printing Supplies Needed:                                                                                            Acrylic paints - plenty of black paint and blue, light blue , white, cadmium orange, yellow.  This should be acrylic paint from tubes.  Watercolor Iris Project: Friday, May 30, 2025 with Rhonda W. Rhonda had us view a short tutorial teaching how to paint an Iris in watercolor. Rhonda had some good tips to help us as we took up this new challenge.  Anita Rhonda: Hi, we will be painting an Iris flower using the pudding method enclosed  is the photos and the supply list. Can you please send this email list out to everyone in the club. Watercolor paper for iris painting 2 or 3 scrap pieces to practice the pudding method. Watercolor paint palette  2 Jars of water  Paint brushes: any brush you have, (a Chinese calligraphy brush  size 12 is  used in the video.)
